Services Provided

The individual receiving driving instruction (the "Student"), and the person or entity purchasing, arranging, or authorizing such services, whether for themselves or on behalf of another (the "Customer"), agree to receive professional driving instruction from JMP Driving School ("the School"). The Customer represents and warrants that they have the authority to enroll the Student and agree to these Terms and Conditions on the Student's behalf.

The School agrees to provide instruction using a dual-controlled vehicle for all practical driving lessons at no additional charge.

All services offered, including driving lessons and optional driving exam services, are strictly service-based. No goods, whether tangible, intangible, or digital, are sold or delivered.

For driving exam services (if selected), the School will provide transportation to and from the agreed location(s).

Lesson Structure

Driving lessons are non-transferable. Each lesson is 120 minutes in duration and includes pick-up and drop-off at the Student's agreed location.

No Guarantee of Results

The Customer and Student acknowledge that no owner, instructor, agent, or employee of the School has made, or is authorized to make, any representation or guarantee that completion of driving lessons will result in passing any driving exam or obtaining a driver's license.

Instructor Authority & Safety

The Student agrees to comply with all instructions provided by the School's instructors. The instructor has full authority to determine whether it is safe to begin, continue, or terminate any lesson or service.

For safety and liability reasons, no individuals other than the Student and the assigned instructor are permitted in the vehicle during any lesson or service. The only exception shall be a School-authorized individual in training to become an instructor, whose presence is permitted at the sole discretion of the School.

Notwithstanding the above, for driving exam services and related transportation, the School may transport two (2) or more Students in the same vehicle for logistical purposes. In such cases, all Students agree to comply with safety instructions and acknowledge that shared transportation may occur.

The School reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services at any time if, in the instructor's sole discretion, the Student

Payment & Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable once the School is ready, willing, and able to perform the agreed services.

Notwithstanding the above, the School reserves the sole and absolute discretion to issue full or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.

In the event a refund is authorized, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The refund may be subject to deduction of any services already rendered
  • Merchant processing fees, transaction fees, and/or refund processing fees may be deducted from the refunded amount
  • Any applicable administrative costs incurred by the School may also be deducted

Payment for services constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the Customer and, where applicable, the Student.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling requests made within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled appointment time will be subject to a $90 fee per lesson and/or driving exam service.

For purposes of this calculation, weekends shall not be included within the forty-eight (48) hour window.

If the required rescheduling fee is not paid, the Customer agrees that the scheduled lesson or service will be forfeited without refund.

If the scheduled lesson or service time begins and the Customer fails to appear, does not carry a valid driver license or permit when required, is unprepared to participate, or is otherwise unable or unwilling to complete the scheduled lesson or service for any reason not attributable to JMP Driving School, the lesson or service may be considered a no-show and forfeited without refund.

Service Completion Timeframe

The Customer agrees that all driving lessons must be completed within:

  • Sixty (60) days from purchase, or
  • One hundred eighty (180) days for the Elite package (25 lessons) only

Driving exam services are excluded from this time limitation.

Lessons not completed within the applicable timeframe may be forfeited unless reinstated upon payment of:

  • $50 per lesson, plus
  • Any applicable price adjustments

Florida Statutory Disclosure (Mandatory Re-Test)

Pursuant to Section 322.56(3)(b) and (e), Florida Statutes, a Student who passes the Class E Knowledge Exam or Driving Skills Test through an authorized testing provider may be randomly selected for a mandatory, no-cost re-test without prior notice.

Upon successful completion of such re-test at a driver license or tax collector office, the license will be issued. Failure of the mandatory re-test will require payment of a re-examination fee for the next attempt.

General Terms

Driving lessons and services are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual.

Acknowledgment, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

By submitting payment, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms and Conditions stated herein on behalf of themselves and the Student, where applicable.

The Customer and Student acknowledge that operating a motor vehicle involves inherent risks, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or death, and voluntarily assume all such risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Customer and Student agree to release, waive, and hold harmless JMP Driving School, its owners, instructors, agents, and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in any services provided, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Payment Authorization & Chargeback Acknowledgment

By completing payment, the Customer expressly authorizes the charge for the selected services and confirms that such charge corresponds to services to be scheduled, reserved, or performed by the School.

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The purchase is for services, including the reservation of time, scheduling availability, and instructor allocation, which may begin immediately upon payment
  • All sales are final and non-refundable as stated in these Terms and Conditions
  • A chargeback or payment dispute based on dissatisfaction, failure to pass any exam, scheduling conflicts, or unused services does not constitute valid grounds for reversal of the charge

The Customer agrees to contact the School directly to resolve any concerns prior to initiating a chargeback or dispute.

The Customer further acknowledges that these Terms and Conditions were reviewed and accepted prior to completing payment, and that proof of such acceptance, along with service records, may be provided to the payment processor or financial institution in response to any dispute.

Payment Verification & Service Access Requirements

Access to services requires that the Customer first acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions and complete payment.

When entering payment information, the Customer must ensure that the billing address and ZIP code exactly match the information on file with their credit card issuer. Transactions may be declined due to Address Verification System (AVS) mismatch.

In the event of a failed transaction due to AVS verification, the Customer is responsible for confirming that the billing address and ZIP code match their credit card statement. This verification process is required for fraud prevention and is intended to protect both the Customer and JMP Driving School.
