Usually the examiner will ask this question:

Q. When parking on a hill (with or without) a curb, what do you need to do?

  1. shift to PARK
  2. turn the WHEEL to the:
2a- uphill with a curb: LEFT
    2b- uphill without curb: RIGHT
2c- downhill with a curb: RIGHT
    2d- downhill without curb: RIGHT
  3. pull up the EMERGENCY BRAKE
  4. turn OFF the engine

- the answer is totally verbal
- just mention the steps in the order shown above
- execute the steps (only if examiner ask you to do it)
- remember to release the emergency brake
- failure to release the emergency brake will cause you to fail the test
