• fasten your seat belt

  • turn on your turning signals when turning

  • be centered on the right lane all the time

  • press the pedals gently

  • keep both hands on the wheel

  • never drive faster than the speed limt

  • stop completely

  • always look left-right-left before moving

Remember to execute 4 steps before moving the car

  1. gear

  2. wheel

  3. signal

  4. look around

  • sit up on the driver's seat

  • avoid pressing gas/brake pedal (if needed, do it gently)

  • keep looking back until the car stops completely

  • don't touch the cones (they represent cars)

  • backing up is accepted (if you're going to touch the cones)

  • keep your foot on the brake pedal (to control the speed)

  • turn on your turning signal

  • look back when backing out of the parking space

Usually the examiner will ask this question:

Q. When parking on a hill (with or without) a curb, what do you need to do?

  1. shift to PARK

  2. turn the WHEEL to the:
    2a- uphill with a curb: LEFT
    2b- uphill without curb: RIGHT
    2c- downhill with a curb: RIGHT
    2d- downhill without curb: RIGHT

  3. activate the EMERGENCY BRAKE

  4. turn OFF the engine
